The term NWOBHM – what’s a shortcut for the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal – electrify Metal fans around the globe for already more than 30 years. No wonder, as not only it’s a goldmine of great bands, albums, riffs and spectacular live shows, but also something that influenced and still influence the entire metal world, and the biggest metal bands that ever existed, including Metallica, whose members are known as a huge NWOBHM enthusiasts. Probably all the fans know such NWOBHM acts as Iron Maiden, Saxon or Diamond Head, but those who dig deeper, know that there is still a lot to discover. One of the best kept secrets of the scene was CHASER. Back in the day, in 1984, the Ipswich, Suffolk based band released just one Single titled “Raiders” (which nowadays is a highly sought after collectors item). But between 1984 and 1986, they actually managed to professionally record 15 tracks, worth of an album release. This never happened, and the Recordings got buried for the next 30 years. Now the Recordings will be heard and officially released for the first time ever. The limited edition album entitled “Raiders – The Anthology” includes all the 15 tracks with new dynamic mastering.
