A collection of songs taken from Nicole Wray’s shelved fourth body of work entitled “Kill Cupid” (2011). The album entered recording as early as the fourth quarter of 2005, when Nicole was shuffled to Dame Dash Music Group following the saddening shelving of her planned third effort “Lovechild”.

While under the Dame Dash umbrella, Nicole readied a buzz single titled “I’ll Take Your Man” per late 2006, featuring production by Amerie’s beatmaker Rich Harrison. She then had plans to ready a “Lovechild” follow-up by simply titling the project “Nicole Wray”; but when “I’ll Take” got overshadowed by one of Fantasia’s then-new songs (“Baby Makin’ Hips”), Nicole asked to be released from her contract with Dame Dash, postponing the anticipated LP.

Nicole would go on to sign to various indie labels from 2007 until 2011, during this lengthy process she had undergone numerous revisions for the album’s title. Among them included “Young, Talented & Beautiful”, “Changes”, “Miss America” until its final title “Kill Cupid”; before it was abandoned when she was asked by returning collaborator Damon Dash to assist him with vocal features on the Black Keys project “BlakRoc” (2010) alongside his artist-assistant McKenzie Eddy’s “A Prelude to My Next Excursion” (2011).

Over 200+ tracks were recorded for this album, with only 65 or so managing to surface over time during this album’s lengthy recording process. Track-listing is as followed:
